2015 is winding down. Most folks just see the end of our riding season fast approaching.
But it’s not over yet!
In fact, this might be the best time of the year to go on that long ride you’ve been putting off.
Well… here’s your chance! This fall promises some great motorcycle rides close to home. Here’s a list of notable happenings coming up in our area:
- Bavarian Mountain Weekend
Sipapu ski area in New Mexico, about 25 miles from Taos.
- IBMWR Fall Get-Together
Casual gathering of the Internet BMW Riders in Eureka Springs, AR.
- 10th Annual Ride to Eat Rally

- Bikes, Blues & BBQ
And now for something completely different…
Thousands of bikes descend on Fayetteville for various levels of debauchery.
- Thrills in the Hills Rally
This is a great opportunity to attend a large BMW rally close to home! The RA national rally is always a good time and typically attended by 1000 to 1500. Join the gathering at the Boone County Fairgrounds in Harrison, AR for seminars, vendors and of course—those Arkansas roads.
- Seaba Station Swap Meet & Show
Cruise old 66 to the roadside museum in Warwick for a swap meet on Saturday and a motorcycle and car show on Sunday.
- Falling Leaf Rally
The Gateway BMW Riders host this shindig in Potosi, MO. This year marks the 40th anniversary, and to celebrate they’re raffling off a toaster-tank R75!
